Dr. Parmar visits UK and Dubai

 Dr. Chiranjit Parmar paid a ten day visit to UK.  He left India on 14 September, 2010 and stayed in UK till
25 September, 2010.  In UK, he visited a few botanical gardens including the famous Kew Botanical Garden
and collected information about some European lesser known fruits.  He left UK on the night of 25th
and arrived Dubai on the morning of 26 September.  He stayed at Dubai till 30 September.  At Dubai,
Dr. Parmar collected information about locally growing fruits.

Dr. Parmar honoured for his work on wild growing fruits.

Purattva Chetana Sangh, an organization from Mandi, HP, the home town of Dr. Chiranjit Parmar, honoured him alongwith three other perons at a function held at Himachal Darshan Photo Gallery ( www.himachaldarshanphotogallery.in ) on 1st May, 2011.  Dr. Parmar was honoured for his efforts for promoting the local wild growing fruits which were not at all known outside Mandi before he started working on them and publicizing them through his writings and lectures.
